when making this music, i always sit by the piano and let my mind drift off, to see what happens.

usually, this leads to a melody and chord progression that i can start building upon with the

electric guitar, one of my pocket operators or my drumpad.

with vädur i like to keep it simple, but i'm also aiming for that sweet spot where the topline

is easy and memorable, but you find intricate details in the arrangement underneath -

some of which only become apparent after hearing a track several times.​

to illustrate my creative ambitions for each track, i make a music video to accompany it. i find it very expressive and rewarding to be able to use my creativity not only musically, but visually as well.
